Founded in 2019\u2014well before the emergence of AI music generators and commercial AI platforms\u2014Aimi was conceived from a visionary ambition to transform the landscape of music creation with AI. Our founders, comprising lifelong musicians and experienced scientists, discerned early that conventional music production methodologies constrained the potential applications of music. From the outset, we resolved not to train our models on waveforms but instead to focus on how music is produced. This enabled us to avoid the ethical and legal quagmires that necessarily come from training on copyrighted songs, ultimately allowing us to build an ethical AI music generator.

Our pioneering efforts in AI music generators have resulted in over 60 international patents<\/a>, a testament to our relentless pursuit of technological excellence. With our proprietary Aimi Script\u2014a unique AI generative music programming language\u2014we model the underlying principles of music creation rather than replicating sound. As a result Aimi’s AI music generator can arrange, mix, master, and produce music in realtime, for any medium, of any length, and in any genre.
